1.5 Emergency Preparedness in the Workplace This event will be an interactive discussion for those in the HR field in the Cariboo area designed to facilitate connection and learning. The focus will be Emergency Preparedness in the Workplace. In light of recent emergences, including fires and floods, it will be a guided discussion and information sharing session on emergency preparedness and readiness. It will review and discuss many aspects of 'planning for the worst' including, for example: the types of communication methods that are useful in sharing information during stressful situations, developing workable plans, and what should be put in place in advance to ensure successfully execution if the need arises. Led by Taryn Aumond of the School District, this will be a collaborative full group discussion, so please bring ideas, information, lessons learned, and questions for the group! Light catering will be provided. All welcome - CPHR BC & Yukon members and non-members included.
