ROUNDTABLE - COACHING - Coaching Ethics in Practice

Roundtables are exclusively available and free for CPHR BC & Yukon Members. These events are peer-to-peer sharing and members play an active role in sharing knowledge and building community. Confidentiality is requested amongst the members present. Roundtables are not recorded for later viewing.
March Topic: Coaching Ethics in Practice
As HR Professionals, connecting to our ethical responsibilities is essential to the work we do.  Those members attending who are also ICF certified have the ICF Code of Ethics for establishing trust and credibility.  In this roundtable we'll explore potential ethical challenges and dilemmas and consider courses of action and their impact. You’ll also differentiate between coaching, a coach approach, advising and counselling. You’ll leave with resources and strategies to fine-tune your ethical capabilities.
Guest Facilitator: Linda J. Alexander, MA, CEC, PCC brings international experience in senior management, human resources, coaching and teaching. Collaborative coaching engagements are designed to fuse her clients’ passion, creativity and possibility with purpose, action and performance. In addition to her practice, Linda is a Mentor Coach with UBC’s Organizational Coaching Program.

Guest Facilitator: Rhonda L. Margolis, EdD, CEC, PCC, is a consultant, coach, and facilitator known for her leadership in creating welcoming and inclusive workplaces. She is committed to supporting individuals, leaders, and teams to transform the quality of conversations in organizations. Rhonda is a coach educator with UBC’s Certificate in Organizational Coaching. www.learninginnovations.ca

Roundtable Host: Ceyda (jay-da) Gultan, MA, ACC, CPHR is a Human Resources Executive with 20 years of progressive experience in global, national and local corporations in private, public and nonprofit sectors. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English language and a Master’s degree in human resources management. As a CPHR professional in BC, she holds a certificate in intercultural studies from UBC. Ceyda is the Past President of the International Coach Federation Vancouver Charter Chapter and she believes in the coaching principle of every person is creative, resourceful and whole.
