In an ever-more complex and demanding world, technical expertise is not enough. We are all experiencing higher demand, more stress, and more fluid working relationships.
During this roundtable we will discuss the concept of Emotional Intelligence outlining why it is important for personal and professional development, and describing how to increase our EQ score by taking control over your brain.

Speaker: Alina Constantin, CPHR, SHRM-SCP - Head of HR, Payroll and H&S at Grieg Seafood.
Alina Constantin, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, PCP, HRPM is currently the Director of Human Resources, Payroll and Health & Safety at Grieg Seafood in Campbell River. She is also a Board Member for the Campbell River Hospice Society and provides HR consulting services for EI Talent.
She holds a Master and a Bachelor degree with specialization in Human Resources Management, a BCIT Human Resources Management Certificate with Distinction and she is a certified Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Development expert.
Alina has also been awarded the 2016 and 2017 Top 25 HR Professionals in Canada and the 2018 HR Professional of the Year Honorable Mention by HR Reporter. With a glowing passion for the HR profession, Alina is hosting the Comox Valley and Campbell River Roundtables where she helps create engaging conversations between HR Professionals.
Clara is an energetic experienced Human Resources professional. She is passionate about organizational behavior, change management, talent acquisition & employment relations. She proudly holds her CPHR designation and works for Capilano University serving a high performance work culture.
