Your 3 HR Conflict Resolution Superpowers
Human Resources Professionals are no strangers to workplace conflict. Employees and managers alike often look to us for answers and difficult situations at work can feel stressful. Working from home and dealing with new workplace and business realities means that being conflict resilient is more important than ever.
In this lively and interactive Roundtable, Cherolyn Knapp will remind us all about our 3 conflict resolution superpowers that can be used effectively in almost any HR situation. Our Roundtable will include discussion of how to apply these superpowers in real life scenarios. Bring your experiences & questions, and be ready to actively contribute to this peer sharing session.

As a litigation lawyer, Cherolyn advocated for and advised clients in all manner of employment and human rights disputes and has experienced conflict from the eye of the storm. As a conflict management consultant, mediator, and trainer she assists participants to approach conflict as an opportunity to stay curious and seek creative solutions.
Cherolyn Knapp, B.Comm, LLB, Q.Med, is a conflict resolution consultant, mediator, trainer, and workplace investigator. A passionate problem-solver Cherolyn understands that most people prefer to resolve conflict than endure the cost and uncertainty of legal proceedings. She worked in HR, non-profit and business management roles before becoming a lawyer. Her 15 years of legal practice in Ontario covered a range of legal issues including employment and human rights, construction, breach of contract, commercial, property, estates, and family disputes. She is now based in Victoria, BC
