HO HO HOliday Celebration 2020

We’re not losing our HO HO HO this year! We have a great evening planned for you on December 1, 2020 in conjunction with Giving Tuesday - the global day of giving.
The HO HO HOliday Celebration is:
- A Fundraiser for our scholarship and bursary at Camosun College* for students enrolled in the HR Degree or Post-Degree Diploma programs
- A Celebration of our members on Vancouver Island who obtained their CPHR designation in 2020
- A gathering of members to connect with one another with some fun activities we have planned
- A review of the year past and a glance into what is planned for 2021
- Holiday food and drink ideas and demonstrations
- An opportunity for fun to be had and prizes to be won
*A high proportion of our student members are attending Camosun College.Additional scholarships will be made available for VIU, our other accredited school with CPHR BC & Yukon.
a student in the middle of a pandemic comes with more challenges than
paying for tuition and books, but making a donation towards scholarships and bursaries is one way we can make a difference for our future HR professionals.

22 years and going strong!
Since 1998, CPHR BC & Yukon Vancouver Island Region has been growing
a scholarship and bursary program with the Camosun College Foundation
to support the growth of students who have chosen the HR profession.
Funds contributed total over $70,000 to benefit students in the
Management & Human Resource Leadership programs (Bachelor of
Business Administration and the Post-Degree Diploma).
CPHR BC & Yukon Bursary – provides financial support to full
or part-time students in either the BBA or PDD program who maintain
satisfactory academic standing and who demonstrate financial need.
James Rowlands Human Resources Award
- provides funds to a student enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of the
BBA who have exhibited commitment and contributed time to the HR
community through part-time work experience or extra-curricular
activities while maintaining a high academic standing, as chosen by
5:30 -7:00pm Pacific Standard Time
4:30 - 6:00pm Yukon Standard Time
