Leading With Emotional Intelligence (Prince George)

Date: February 20, 2020
Location: Twisted Cork

CPD hours: 2.0

Event Summary:

Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Ever heard the saying “I quit my boss, not my job”? Reasons for this may have to do with the employee’s relationship with their boss, including the lack of a positive rapport in the workplace.

Emotional intelligence is an essential skill for leaders in businesses today. This session will focus on the impact of highly emotional intelligent leaders and why this skill is so critical in the workplace. How do we lead with emotional intelligence and what attributes does a leader with high emotional intelligence look like? Leader’s emotions drive the impact of those around them. How do you show up at work? Do your emotions change under pressure?

The discussion will support leaders in applying how they can focus on their emotions, the emotions of others, and become a leader with emotional intelligence. It will be lead by Andrea Born.
