This is an opportunity for all HR focused students and new graduates from across BC & Yukon to come together virtually, learn from successful HR professionals and propel your future HR careers forward.
You will gain career advice, learn real-world HR skills and what it takes to develop into a thriving HR professional. Hear from HR leaders and rising stars who will share advice, knowledge and hacks to succeed in today’s ever changing work environment.
This powerful event is FREE to CPHR BC & Yukon Student Members & New Graduate Members. Non-members can register for a $10 fee (which you can get back see below*).

2021 Student Summit Presenters
Mandy Bhullar, CPHR is Manager Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action Partnering at lululemon. She is an awarded Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practitioner who has worked across many industries & functions, primarily centered on fostering inclusion of historically excluded communities. She is a business partner to various corporate functions including HR, Technology, Legal, Innovation (R&D), & Finance. Mandy is a UBC & BCIT alumni, and a mentor with CPHR BC & Yukon.
Adam Bishop, CPHR Candidate leads BC Transit's Strategic Talent Team. He is passionate about matching people at all levels to jobs that get them fired up to come into work every day. Holding a degree in HR & Labour Relations, he has over 10 years of experience in large unionized organizations with deep experience in Recruitment & Retention, Labour & Employee Relations, Disability Case Management, OHS & Violence Prevention. Fun fact, prior to working in HR he had his own sports radio show in Edmonton!
Kate Fenton, CPHR is a senior Human Resources professional with a solid track record of over 18 years of progressive leadership roles within the retail industry. Kate has worked for Loblaw Companies Ltd., The Home Depot, and is currently a National Human Resources Manager with Starbucks Canada. Kate holds a diploma in Technology, Human Resources Management from BCIT and is also a Certified Executive Coach.
Monica Tsai, CPHR is Chief of Staff at Kabam Games where she oversees the People & Talent Acquisition function and is responsible for driving & delivering business & operational initiatives to support the company's strategic vision & long-term goals. She is a CPHR & a certified professional coach with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SFU, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, where she is currently pursuing her Doctoral of Social Science degree.
