Program Summary:


Employers are required under legislation and by law to enforce garnishments, family support, maintenance orders and certain wage assignments. As such, employers are required to withhold a specified amount or percentage of an employee's wages and remit the amount to the applicable court or government agency.

Managing Garnishments is designed to provide payroll professionals with a complete overview of the legislation, policies and processes with regards to garnishments (including federal and provincial orders), family support, maintenance orders and wage assignments.

This course is presented in an online format.
