Roundtables are exclusively available and free for CPHR BC & Yukon Members. These events are peer-to-peer sharing and members play an active role in sharing knowledge and building community. Confidentiality is requested amongst the members present. Roundtables are not recorded for later viewing. 
 
This Labour Relations Roundtable is for members currently working in LR or HR practitioners working in unionized workplaces.  
 
This interactive roundtable will provide members with a venue for support from the connections made through the group. Participants can expect to engage in high-level discussions about agenda items that have been put forward at the start of the meeting. The roundtable promotes a commitment to confidentiality, best practice discussions, and shared resources.

Roundtable Hosts:
 
Anthony Bone, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, has his roots within the Federal Government working various roles both military and civilian over the last 25 plus years. He moved to the solo HR discipline of Labour Relations in 2015 providing support for the Royal Canadian Navy out of Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt. He has worked on complex union/ management files with a focus of building relationships and creativity when solving problems. He achieved the CPHR designation 2018 and received the SHRM-SCP designation in 2019. In 2020 he moved to the position of Labor Relations Team Lead, while providing support and mentorship to other Labor Relation Officers across the country while his organization transformed from a Regional to a National service delivery model. Anthony is also trained and an experienced mediator and provides support to many organizations our side of his formal Federal Government role.
 
 
 
 
Heather Gauthier, CPHR brings over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, spanning both the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated passion for all facets of HR management. Heather completed her CPHR designation in 2011, solidifying her expertise and dedication to the field. She currently serves as the HR and Safety Director at RED Mountain Resort, a role she has held since 2018. In this capacity, Heather has honed her skills in labor relations, leveraging her experience to implement HR policies and strategies that align with the resort’s operational objectives. Her goal in labour relations is to build and maintain strong union/employer relationships through good communication and transparency.
