Part 1 of 3: Getting to Know BC's Labour Crisis:

Welcome to the first of three webinar series that aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the current state of British Columbia's labor market, and what you can do about it to avoid and mitigate succession woes and labour shortages.

In this first session, our main focus will be on the BC Labour Market Outlook for the next 10 years, and analyzing the number of job vacancies that arise each year and how they will be filled. Additionally, we will delve into the various sectors of employment and the sources of labor within the province that will be most affected by projected shortages. By presenting a statistical breakdown of the BC labor market outlook, we will aim to equip you with valuable insights into this dynamic landscape so you can lead your organization's strategic hiring initiatives with confidence.

In this session, participants will learn:
  • The current state of BC's Labour Market and how it will affect HR manager's decision making and hiring strategies.
  • The main reasons why BC is in a labour crisis and what sectors, jobs and demographics are most affected.

Chris Brown Chris Brown, the founder of Tudor House Immigration Services, is an esteemed RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) and licensed recruiter based in the beautiful province of British Columbia.

With over 10 years of experience in the field of Canadian immigration, Chris has assisted countless individuals and organizations successfully achieve their immigration goals. In addition to his practice as an RCIC, Chris is a seasoned speaker at conferences and other community events, where he shares his expertise on topics of Canadian immigration, international education, and the current state of the BC labour market. Chris' company, Tudor House Immigration Services provides Canadian immigration and recruitment services for BC-based employers with a large focus on UK foreign nationals.
