Wake Up HR is the perfect place for HR professionals to build lasting connections and get answers to their questions. Grab your coffee, tea, or smoothie and join a Zoom call designed to foster community, share valuable resources, and connect you with your HR colleagues. This cameras-on session ensures that you can see each other face-to-face, making it easier to build meaningful relationships and engage in insightful conversations. Whether you value peer-to-peer learning, enjoy exchanging ideas, or appreciate the opportunity to connect on a personal basis through breakout rooms, Wake Up HR offers a supportive community where you can both contribute and learn. 

Wake Up HR is hosted every Friday morning by a team of volunteer members and association staff from 7:30 to 8:30 am (Pacific) and is open to members and non-members who work in the field of Human Resources. 

Wake Up HR is for you if: 

  • You are an HR professional who values meaningful conversations and peer-to-peer learning.
  • You believe that everyone has valuable insights and experiences to share.
  • You enjoy engaging in discussions and exchanging ideas with fellow HR professionals.
  • You appreciate the opportunity to connect on a more personal basis through breakout rooms.
  • You are looking for a supportive community where you can both contribute and learn. 

 

Wake Up HR is NOT for you if: 

  • You prefer structured presentations and formal lectures over interactive discussions.
  • You are looking for a traditional seminar or workshop with a set agenda.
  • You are not comfortable participating in small group conversations.
  • You do not wish to actively engage or share your own experiences and insights.
  • You are seeking a passive learning experience rather than an active, conversational one.
