Professional Mentoring Program – Mid Point "Happy Hour" 2018-19 (Kelowna)

Date: February 21, 2019
Location: Bunkhouse Bar & Grill

CPD hours: 1.5
Event Summary:

Join us in raising a glass and some well deserved fun. We’ve planned an engaging and interactive ‘Happy Hour’ with networking activities that make connecting easy and sharing fun!

2018-2019 Mentors and Protégés in the Southern Interior are invited to this mid-point event. Please pre-register!

Don’t miss this great opportunity to relax in the warmth of a countryside pub as we review the last months, celebrate the incredible talent in the room, and clear the runway for the 2nd leg of this mentoring relationship – cocktail style.

Come prepared to share anecdotes, to get curious and enjoy some fun company.

It is recommended you attend as a Mentor/Protégé pair if possible, but still attend even if your partner cannot.

The meeting (or rather gathering) will informally explore:
- successes and challenges so far
- what advice do you have to give or want?
- goals for the remaining time on the program

Bring your anecdotes, questions and curiosity and come ready to share your them.
Light refreshments provided. Drinks are available for purchase (it is a pub after all).

The session will be facilitated by regional Mentoring Program lead, Gil Davidson of advantage management onsulting (www.advantagemanagement.ca).

With a business administration degree, a coaching certification, 10 years international corporate experience and over 16 years running her own boutique leadership development consultancy, Gil brings a rare blend of strategy and Emotional Intelligence. She coaches individuals and teams of executives and Rising Stars, those already in the executive-suite or who have the potential to be there. Talented individuals and teams who want to grow their leadership.

Her clients most often describe her as 'insightful' and 'direct'. They soon realize leadership requires accessing aspects of themselves they've not yet developed. Even the most talented have gaps and blind spots. That doesn't limit their success. Ignoring the gaps and blind spots is what really trips leaders up. But you already know that which is why you’re investing in the mentorship program!

Light refreshments provided. Drinks are available for purchase (it is a pub after all).
