Professional Mentoring Program - Virtual Mentoring Network Session for Mentors (Online)
Date: April 26, 2019
Serving your protégé through accountability and curiosity in uncomfortable scenarios
Mentors! Join us for a facilitated, interactive session to help you navigate the relationship when things get strained. Strategies for serving the protégé, while keeping ownership for their learning with them. Join the conversation, and come ready with scenarios, thoughts and questions as we co-create what you will get from it.
Who should attend
This session is designed for mentors and primarily for those who live/work in locations where local mentoring events are not accessible. This is a unique opportunity for mentors to connect with fellow members living outside of city centres, and to discuss strategies for building strong mentoring relationships virtually.
This session will be facilitated by Gil Davidson, Executive Coach, Leadership Development Consultant and chair of CPHR BC & Yukon’s Southern Interior mentoring committee.
With a business administration degree, a coaching certification, 10 years international corporate experience and over 16 years running her own boutique leadership development consultancy, Gil brings a rare blend of strategy and Emotional Intelligence. She coaches individuals and teams of executives and Rising Stars. Those already in the executive-suite or who have the potential to be there. Talented individuals and teams who want to grow their leadership.
Her clients most often describe her as 'insightful' and 'direct'. They soon realize leadership requires accessing aspects of themselves they've not yet developed. Even the most talented have gaps and blind spots. That doesn't limit their success. Ignoring the gaps and blind spots is what really trips leaders up. But you already know that which is why you’re investing in the mentorship program!
