In this session, we’ll discuss effective techniques that will allow you to hire the best and inspire them to stay.                                         
 
Presenter: JoAnne Marlow, Leadership and Human Capital Expert    
 
JoAnne Marlow is a Leadership and Human Capital expert;  best selling author, professional speaker, and leading authority in multi-generational communication and management systems.  She works with Executives, Senior Managers and Project Leaders to build their knowledge, skills and capacity to lead highly effective multi-generational teams.
 
With 35+ years of experience with a diverse professional background in both private and public sectors in business and education, JoAnne has had the rare and unique experience to having taught and trained the five generations who are now working side by side in the workforce. Passionate about life-long learning, she has written over 15 books and articles, and holds degrees from Simon Fraser University in Economics and Commerce, and Education. She earned an MA in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and received Board Certification in Life Coaching, from Coach Inc. University.    
 
  
 
Valerie Henderson, Active member of CPHR and North Shore Roundtable, Valerie Henderson has provided senior level HR services to small and medium sized businesses since 1994 and works closely with all levels of management and employees. She is well versed on the business needs of all types of organizations.     
 
Laura Necochea is an HR professional dedicated to all things people and culture.  She is currently the HR Manager for Richmond Steel Recycling (2018) and has many years of HR experience from the automotive collision repair sector prior to this new position.
