As an HR professional, learning the basic finance and accounting can help you throughout your career. This half-day seminar will prepare you to be seen as an HR professional who understands other facets of the business. If you are looking to move beyond HR and into other functional areas, this knowledge will complement your skill set.

In this presentation, you will learn:

How to understand basic financial information such as,
  • Profit and loss statement (income statement)
  • Balance sheet
  • Return on investment
  • What are shareholders
  • Using financial metrics as a function of HR investment
  • And more!

About the presenter:
Anthony Ariganello Anthony is the President and CEO of CPHR BC & YK and also serves as the CEO of CPHR Canada.

Prior to joining CPHR BC & YK, Anthony served as president and CEO of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada), a self-regulating association of 75,000 students and members. Previously, Anthony was president of Montreal-based Avon Canada, and also held senior-level financial positions including that of controller at Nortel Networks. He is also an active board member of several organizations.
