Topic: Personal Strengths in your Job Search
The purpose of this roundtable is to provide networking advice to help new professionals integrate themselves into the HR community and to discuss the role networking can play in finding jobs.
We will also discuss setting reasonable expectations for yourself in these endeavors and how they relate to your job search.
The later topics of these roundtables will be flexible to better meet the needs of CPHR’s new professional members and topic suggestions are welcome at all times.
This roundtable is intended to help new and transitioning professionals with a series of comprehensive sessions with practical take-aways to enhance their career advancement and to provide a forum for networking with others.
Gary Muuren has more than 18 years in Human Resources experience. During his career, Gary held various professional, management and executive positions within the Human Resources.
Gary holds his CPHR designation, BA, Human Resources Management and MBA.
Mathew is a new professional, providing a relevant and practical perspective as co-lead of this roundtable. He recently graduated and he holds his BBA in HR and is beginning his career in Human Resources.
He brings firsthand knowledge from his own search for career advancement and new opportunities.
