Have you been using LinkedIn to its full advantage to build your network and share your brand?  If you’re looking for some
practical hands-on advice to take your profile to the next level, join us in this interactive 90 minute lab where we’ll do a live “best practices” tour of the tool and show you how to optimize your profile.  
It isn't mandatory but if you are interested in doing just-in-time editing to your profile, please bring a laptop with you.  
Workshop Facilitators:
Liz Grant - Principal Consultant, Logan HR
Liz is an experienced career management professional having worked in the field for more than 2 decades. As a coach, her passion is in guiding clients to develop a clear understanding of their vision, strengths, career opportunities and develop action plans to achieve career goals. Prior to joining LoganHR, Liz worked for a global career and talent management consulting firm where she held roles including Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant and National Practice Leader. She is best known for her leadership, planning and organizing skills and the ability to achieve results and delight her clients. She has worked with hundreds of clients from a broad range of industries. Liz received her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) from the University of British Columbia. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and has completed her Co-Active Coaching Certification through the Coaches Training Institute.
Howie Outerbridge - Vice President, Client Solutions, Logan HR
Howie's background includes over 15 years of experience in learning, career exploration, and the development of people in a variety of settings including private industry, community based career centres and post-secondary institutions. These experiences help him work with organizations to consult on a range of topics including career management, downsizing, and leadership solutions. Howie has held a variety of career-related management, instructor and counselling positions at both the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU). Previously, he was Director-Career Services at UBC, where he led a team of 17 staff in one of Canada's largest post-secondary career centres. He is certified in the Birkman Method, and has taught career development theory at both SFU and UBC. Howie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Kinesiology), a Master’s degree in Education (Counselling Psychology) and recently completed his Doctorate in Education at SFU. He is an active mentor in the community and regularly gives his time to those that are in transition, and/or struggling to manage their careers. (CTI).

City Center Community Center is a short 8 minute walk from Richmond-Brighouse Station on the Canada Line. And a short 30 minute skytrain ride from downtown Vancouver. Paid parking is available for $2 per hour
