HR Connects at Kabam - SOLD OUT - Waitlisting

Event Summary:
Kick off the start of fall and join us for a fun and interactive evening hosted at Kabam’s fantastic office space in downtown Vancouver. This will be an interactive evening of learning and sharing which will include ‘co-storming’ an HR problem with your peers.
 
What isco-storming’?  Co-storming is a word recently coined which means; ‘Interactive brainstorming sessions with two or more people designed to identify and action tasks together to achieve goals.’ During this event you will have the opportunity to ‘co-storm’ about two a very real and hot HR topic/challenge for many organizations; how to build a high-performance culture and how to build a culture of personal leadership.

Why attend?
You share the same desire to problem solve and crowd source new ideas to help your organization, but also have ideas and successes to share with others in a ‘co-storming’ space.

Who should attend?
HR professionals at all levels and who come from a variety of industries and backgrounds who are open to sharing, learning and growing from the ideas of others.

This event includes refreshments, networking and a guided tour of the Kabam office space.

Host & Facilitators:
Tyler Cheyne, CPHR, has over 10 years experience in Human Resources in Vancouver, specializing in Leadership, Talent Development and Culture. Currently he is a Senior People Business Partner at Kabam. Tyler is a Board Member of Vantage Point and has volunteered in the past with CPHR BC and Yukon and VANOC. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC. Outside of work Tyler performs improve comedy with Instant Theatre.
 
Daryl Chappell, CPHR,  has over 20 years experience in Human Resources working in Germany and Canada, but working in many jurisdictions around the globe, Europe, North America, China, Australia and Afghanistan.
Currently Head of People and Talent Acquisition for Kabam, Daryl has worked in many technology companies from Consulting to Defence and Space to Semi-Conductors and now gaming. While working with most disciplines Daryl has focused on Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and Compensation. When he gets time, Daryl enjoys playing volleyball.

Registration priority will be given to member of CPHR BC & Yukon first until September 12th. After that, if space is still available it will be opened to others.
 
No registrations will be permitted at the door.

Cancellations/substitutions: If you are unable to attend this event or you wish to send a substitute in your place, we ask that you inform us by email or phone 604-684-7228. Member/non-member rate differences will apply for substitutions. A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be issued for cancellations submitted at least one week prior to an event or workshop. No refunds will be issued for registration fees of $25 or less.
