Topic: Great Leaders are Savvy Negotiators
Effective negotiation skills are essential for all senior leaders.
At the session we will discuss how to use negotiation to resolve conflicts collaboratively, come to an agreement that addresses interests of several parties, and achieve your leadership goals.
This new roundtable is for Director level HR professionals and above who work in an organization. This roundtable is NOT suitable for independent consultants, student members or HR managers in small organizations. If you register and you do not meet the intended audience of this roundtable we will contact you to discuss your registration.
Speaker: Travis Woolf, Program Manager for Customized Resolution and Leadership Training at Justice Institute of BC (JIBC).
Travis has extensive conflict management experience from North Shore Restorative Justice Society and JIBC supported by his Master's Degree in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies.
Elena Bobyreva is an HR leader with 15+ years of progressive advisory and implementation experience in retail, medical, academic, and construction industries. Elena is an active member of the CPHR community, she enjoys participating in mentorship programs, chairing and participating in HR roundtables, and attending conferences. Elena leads the Senior Leader Roundtable, a forum for HR Directors and VPs to discuss HR trends as well as opportunities and challenges in HR leadership roles.
