How to Hire a University Student - Utilizing Post Secondary Work Integrated Learning Programs
This session will look at the INWIL project, a provincial government funded project to increase Work Integrated Learning awareness with organizations in the North and Interior regions in particular. (Interior and Northern Work Integrated Learning Initiative)
The three project coordinators from TRU, UBCO, and UNBC have developed a simplified way to hire students from the region by developing a streamlined website, funding guides and hiring toolkits. Attend this interactive Roundtable to build your knowledge and skills as we work through these guides and toolkits; and take away physical resources that you can add to your own HR toolkits when hiring university student talent.
Come ready to engage and discuss at this interactive discussion to help improve your hiring of emerging talent.
