CPHR Knowledge Exam Prep Course (Vancouver)
This CPHR BC & Yukon prep course is designed to give our members a more thorough understanding of what they will need to know in order to be successful when writing the CPHR National Knowledge Exam (NKE).
During this very informative 2 day session, participants will review important HR theory for each competency area. Sample exam questions and a glossary of terms will be analyzed, enabling participants to identify potential knowledge gaps. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss techniques for passing. The goal of this course is to equip students with the tools and knowledge needed to prepare effectively for the NKE.
Take the prep course well in advance of your exam date to give yourself ample time to fill in gaps in your knowledge in the core competencies.
You Will Learn:
- The structure and format of the CPHR NKE - components and weightings
- An overview of the body of knowledge covered by the exam
- To apply the knowledge using sample questions and group activities
- How to design and implement an individualized learning plan

Stephanie Milliken has over 20 years of hands-on HR experience serving organizations from a variety of industries. She is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources with a Master’s Degree in HR Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology, HR Planning Certification, and two nominatio, 2019ns for the CPHR BC & Yukon Award of Achievement in Human Resources.
Stephanie has spent fifteen years as a consultant assisting organizations with their HR challenges. Prior to becoming a consultant, Stephanie worked inside organizations championing HR strategies at the executive level. Her accomplishments resulted in practical cost-effective HR programs that improved business results and contributed to two organizations being ranked in the top ten companies to work for in British Columbia and in Canada.
Stephanie’s experience inside organizations providers her with an appreciation for the impact HR initiatives have on organization effectiveness as well as the need for simplicity and cost effectiveness to ensure positive results. Her goal is to help clients receive just what they need, when they need it, in a manner that provides sustainable value.
