HR Community Showcase – Vancouver Film School: A Lesson in Accessing Top Talent
Please join us for another fantastic HR Community Showcase and hear about how the HR Team at Vancouver Film School maximized their ability to access top talent in a highly competitive market.
Vancouver Film School is a recognized world leader in entertainment arts education, offering 13 full-time programs to over 1000 students across eight campuses. VFS employs industry professionals to teach the next generation of industry pros and in order to access top talent in these industries they changed their recruitment approach from a traditional one to a more network-centric approach.
Come learn how this concept came about, how they executed the concept (with both successes and failures) including specific examples of how they built their networks, social media outreach, and how they connected with passive candidates. This is a great opportunity to hear the story of how VFS have evolved to be more effective recruiters and how any HR professional working in any industry and any budget can learn to maximize their ability to access top talent.
As always our community showcase will begin with a networking/refreshment reception and end with the optional a short tour of a section of the campus. This is a great opportunity to come check out their fantastic film studio space.
Attendance is limited and this session will fill up fast!
