The Art of Negotiation for HR Professionals – How to Create a Win-Win Solution (Webinar)

Date: June 20, 2017
Location: Online

PRESENTER: Georges Levesque Jr., Levesque & Associates, President & Founder

Less than 20% of all executives and entrepreneurs are formally trained and fewer than 1 in 7 have ever read a book on negotiating. The lack of skill is costing companies and organizations billions per year. The increase in capacity will enable positive improvements in the professional and personal lives of attendees. It will allow influencers to then develop a needed skill that can be applied more broadly throughout the province. Learn to assess, plan, execute and counter a proper negotiation while learning to read proper human dynamics at the negotiation table.

From this presentation, you will take away:

  • How to properly assess the needs and objectives of a negotiation
  • How to build a negotiation plan and determine the other side’s goals
  • Discover and improve your alternatives to the negotiation
  • Make offers and deal with counter-offers
  • Handle all types of personalities at a negotiation table

  • Professionals who interact daily with suppliers, co-workers, clients and the public. Regardless of title or position, this skill applies for anyone requiring consensus to achieve all objectives. It is also very useful for those who wish to learn how to plan for deals of any kind. It further allows those who often feel overwhelmed by others to counter those influences.
