Fraser Valley Learning & Networking Evening!

Topic: Tips to Avoid Expensive Employment Standards Surprises
Our evening will begin with an opportunity to network and engage in a warm, casual environment, and to enjoy some sips & nibbles before gathering to hear from our featured presenter as she shares some “Tips to Avoid Expensive Employment Standards Surprises."

When the employment standards branch calls, it can be surprisingly expensive. At this session we will highlight a few major pitfalls, and provide a case law update, including mis-characterizing employees, overview of the definition of Manager, rights and entitlements of the non-management worker, and the use of salary vs. hourly pay.
We hope you can join us for the second in a series of three legal evening sessions for the Fraser Valley, to learn and reconnect with your fellow HR professionals.
