Pot At Work - What Is An Employer To Do?!
with lawyer Veronica Ukrainetz

Employers have moved from the challenge of medical marijuana to the legalization of marijuana (but not edibles). The legalization of marijuana has put the spotlight on impairment in the workplace. Does it matter if your workplace is not safety sensitive? What to do if you do have a safety sensitive workplace? When to drug test? What about the smell?

Join employment lawyer Veronica Ukrainetz at this interactive Roundtable to discuss the evolving world of drugs at work.

Veronica Ukrainetz is the principal and founder of Ukrainetz Workplace Law Group, a boutique firm based out of the Okanagan which provides strategic legal and human resources support for employers. Veronica has been practicing management side employment, labour, human rights and privacy law for over 20 years, and has also worked as a human resources manager, a restaurant manager and a freelance writer. She is an engaging presenter who embraces the challenge of working with her clients to develop innovative and practical solutions to workplace challenges.
