How to Create a Culture That Supports Change (Vancouver)

We cannot compel people to change but, we can build understanding, connect them to their values and inspire a commitment to change. As leaders we must lead by example, remain authentic, and create meaningful experiences for our teams.

This interactive workshop is designed to assist managers in leading change and teams in adapting to change, using practical change management strategies that works.

The learning concept follows draw on traditional change management, neuroscience and the art of dialogue in order to teach people how to lead through change and conflict.

In this presentation, you will learn:

  • Understand what drives behavior
  • Gain insight in to how human brain works
  • Discover your authentic leadership through self-awareness and self-reflection

About the presenters:
Magda Laljee Magda Laljee is a results oriented professional with over 15 years of business management and leadership experience at both a strategic and operational level. She has a strong track record in developing and managing business improvement and change management. Her areas of expertise include: people management, coaching, mediation, facilitation, and negotiation. She has an innate ability to connect with all levels of employees to create engaged workplace environments. Magda holds a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies, and a Masters in Conflict Analysis and Management.
Alison Martens Alison Martens
Alison is a purpose driven Change Enthusiast who believes in the immense potential of assuming the positive and in setting high expectations. She has a strong history working with multidisciplinary clients to assess challenges, analyze information and deliver solutions. Her areas of experience include: business process analysis, change management, project management and coaching. Alison strives to authentically live her values and thrive on connection. Watch out, she is known for infecting others with her contagious energy. She holds a green belt in Lean Six Sigma, a Master in Business Administration, a provincial instructor diploma, is a project management professional (PMP) and frequently draws on her co-active coaching tools. Her favorite question is "Why?"
