Co-op: Why Its Good for Business
The Southern Interior Roundtable Committee is pleased to host this online session focusing on the benefits of hiring Co-op students.
Join us to learn why hiring Co-op students is good for your business! This interactive session will provide valuable information about co-op programs, factors you may not know or have thought about, potential funding, and tips on how to onboard & support students in a virtual workplace.
Join the interactive discussion which will apply to co-op programs in all geographies (not just pertaining to Okanagan College). Bring your questions and come ready to engage & discuss, whether you have experience of hiring Co-op students or are thinking about it.
Guest Facilitator: Paulette Gill, Coordinator - Student, Grad & Co-op Services – Okanagan College
Paulette has been a member of the CPHR BC & Yukon for more than 20 years. She works with students & employers in the Central Okanagan area, currently located virtually at the Kelowna campus. She loves the opportunity to work with students and employers to create win-wins and support them in their career and business success!
Guest Facilitator: Alison Beaumont, Coordinator - Student, Grad & Co-op Services – Okanagan College
Alison works with students and employers in the North Okanagan and is currently working virtually at the Vernon Campus. She is excited to see students grow their confidence & start their career journeys. Co-op can be transformational for students & help them further their potential more rapidly after graduation!
Roundtable Host: Zach Webster hosts this Roundtable on behalf of the Southern Interior Roundtable Committee. Zach is a Corporate Training Specialist at Okanagan College and an active member of the HR community.
