If you’re looking for some practical hands-on advice to take your profile to the next level, join us in this interactive 60 minute lab where we’ll do a live "best practices" tour of the tool and show you how to optimize your profile.

About the presenter:

Howie Outerbridge Howie Outerbridge, Vice President - Client Solutions
Howie's background includes over 15 years of experience in learning, career exploration, and the development of people in a variety of settings including private industry, community based career centres and post-secondary institutions. The experiences have helped him work with organizations to consult on a range of topics including career management, downsizing, personal branding and leadership solutions.

Howie has held a variety of career-related management, instructor and counselling positions at both the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU). He is certified in the Birkman Method, has been an avid LinkedIn user for over 10 years, and has taught career development theory at both SFU and UBC. Howie holds a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology), a Master of Education (Counselling Psychology) and recently completed his doctorate in education at SFU. Howie is a daily user of LinkedIn and has been using it actively since 2007.
