This in-person workshop is designed for internationally trained HR professionals who want to take their careers in Canada to the next level. As Part 2 of our career development series—but also suitable as a standalone session—it focuses on advancing your professional brand, growing your network, and targeting strategic HR roles.
 
Led by Araz Rismani (MBA, CPHR, PMP), the session provides actionable tools for interview preparation, job search, and aligning with industry certifications. Gain confidence, clarity, and a roadmap to move forward in BC’s competitive HR landscape.

Araz Rismani, CPHR


Araz Rismani is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 15 years of experience in human resources and operations management. His extensive background spans both non-profit and corporate-led, government-funded social service programs.Araz has actively contributed to his community by serving on boards and advisory councils for various organizations, including the City of Coquitlam and S.U.C.C.E.S.S.. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Simon Fraser University and currently teaches at University Canada West and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. As a faculty member, Araz specializes in leadership, intercultural engagement, organizational behavior, and other key business subjects.
