The Career Advancement Network (CAN) for Newcomers helps to empower members who moved to Canada in the last 5 years, are emerging or in job transition and are actively seeking employment or interested in career development topics. Participants have an opportunity to discuss career goals and develop practical skills to enhance their job search effort.

TOPIC: NEWCOMERS:  Best Practices for Networking and Informational Interviews

This session builds on the learning session. We will have a conversation with former newcomers to Canada who have successfully built and maintained professional relationships. They will share their strategies for effective networking and conducting informational interviews to learn more about potential career paths and opportunities. This is a great opportunity to hear firsthand how others have navigated the networking landscape and to ask any questions you might have.
