The Member Recognition Gala will be an enchanting night filled with inspirational stories, jubilation, and the honouring of distinguished individuals within the HR profession in BC and the Yukon.
Whether you are one of the honourees, embarking on your HR journey, or wish to cheer on and support one of the members, we invite you all to join us in celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of the 2024 FCPHR recipient, the 2024 HR Spotlight recipients, and the CPHR Class of 2024 designates.
Your Gala Ticket Includes:
- 1 hosted drink during the cocktail reception and wine service during dinner.
- 3-course plated dinner at the spectacular Fairmont Waterfront.
- Photo opportunities in your finest attire with a professional photographer.
- Networking opportunities with HR professionals at all stages in their career throughout the regions.

Event Schedule (all times are in Pacific Time and are subject to change):
- Registration opens and the Cocktail Reception starts at 4:30pm in the Waterfront Ballroom Foyer, located on ground level of the Fairmont Waterfront.
- Ballroom Doors open at 5:45pm
- Program and Dinner commences at 6:00pm
Fee:
- Tickets - $160 each plus applicable taxes.
- Discounts are available for a Full Table Registration (10 people) - please contact events@cphrbc.ca for more information. For the CPHR Class of 2024 full table, the discount is only applicable for one CPHR Class of 2024 member and 9 guests, and the entire party must be billed on one single invoice.

Registration Process:
As the main registrant, you may also register additional guests. When completing the online form, please submit the following information for yourself and optional guest(s).
- Any dietary restrictions or accessibility requirements
- First name for the name badge
- Entrée selection (beef, fish or vegetarian). If you are adding a guest to your registration, please indicate their entrée selection under their dietary requirements.
- Full names of other attendees whom you would like to be seated with at your table. If you do not indicate who you would like to sit with, your seat will be assigned by CPHR BC & Yukon. CPHR BC & Yukon staff will do their best to accommodate all seating requests but cannot make any guarantees.

- Starter - Marinated Kale & Beetroot Salad – golden raisins, lemon-confit fennel, crispy chickpeas, root vegetable chips
- Entrée (choice of one per person)
- Cider Braised Beef Short Rib – Chive mashed potatoes
- Roasted Steelhead – Braised barley, cauliflower puree, poblano salsa
- King Oyster and Celeriac – Roasted celeriac, king oyster, smoked mushroom puree, leeks, quinoa, miso beet jus
- Dessert - Expressions of Chocolate – Black-out chocolate cake, coconut ganache, fresh raspberry

Hotel Accommodations:
The Fairmont Waterfront is offering discounted guest room rates on a limited basis until January 3, 2025. The discounted rate starts at $285 per night plus taxes and fees for single/double occupancy. Click here to book your stay.
Terms and Conditions:
If you are unable to attend this event or you wish to send a substitute in your place, we ask that you inform us by email. A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, can be issued for cancellations made on or before January 17, 2025. No refunds will be issued after January 17.
There will be a professional photographer at this event. Photos may be used for CPHR BC & Yukon marketing purposes including social media posts or provided to media for publication. If you do not want your photograph taken, please alert the onsite photographer.
