PROGRAM SUMMARY

In fall 2022 Statistics Canada released new census data which have significant implications for your organization's Indigenous employment and labour market strategies. Learn what our analysis reveals about these data in this webinar presentation. We will drill down into what the data means and how you can turn it to your advantage. In the current tight labour market it is important to leverage this data and to understand its strengths and weaknesses. The census provides a current snapshot to better understand the characteristics of the current and future pipeline of Indigenous talent; an additional tool for your employment and workforce planning needs.

Learning Objectives:
  • Learn about the strengths and weaknesses of Indigenous Census Data
  • Understand the implications of New Census Data for employers' workforce needs
  • Learn how the data can be used as a tool for employment and workforce planning
