Now that we have identified the issue, it's time to strategize. How can we tackle this challenge head-on and secure our success?

In this crucial discussion, we will explore from a practical perspective, the primary methods that companies can utilize to bring foreign nationals into BC and address labor shortages. Throughout this session, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the necessary requirements, timelines, challenges, and processes associated with the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs).

Furthermore, we will highlight exemptions to these regulations that enable companies to effortlessly and efficiently hire talent from abroad. Join us and enhance your knowledge on this subject.

In this session, participants will learn:

• The main government sponsored programs designed to help Canadian employers hire from outside of Canada.
• How to assess your organization for eligibility.
• Exemptions to LMIAs – avoiding the bureaucracy.
• Realistic timelines and costs of hiring outside Canada.
• Effective strategic approaches to navigating the labour crisis.

• Understanding of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and the process of obtaining an LMIA.
