- 10% discounts are available for groups of 5 or more from the same organization. Please contact [email protected] to complete your group registration.
- Both registration and payment are required for every person attending this event. All registrations must be made by April 15.
- Manual registrations made at any time are subject to a non-refundable $50 processing fee.
- As a conference attendee, your name, title, employer and city will be displayed on the conference mobile app that is available to all participants, including conference speakers and exhibitors. You can adjust/manage your privacy settings once you have access to the mobile app.
- CPHR BC & Yukon has hired photographers to take photographs during the conference. If you do not want your photo to be taken, please make this known to the photographers.
- By registering, you agree and acknowledge that you are undertaking participation in CPHR BC & Yukon events and activities as your own free and intentional act and you are fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to you as a result of your participation in these events. You give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and that you are, as a result, able to participate in CPHR BC & Yukon events and you do hereby assume responsibility for your own well-being. You also agree to notify CPHR BC & Yukon of any substitute participant taking your place, and to obtain such substitute participant's acceptance of these provisions.
- CPHR BC & Yukon wishes to create a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all. Please remember that while participating in an event, whether online or in person, Association members have the duty to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner and are expected to abide by the CPHR BC & Yukon Code of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct in both verbal and written comments. We reserve the right to remove, or edit any content, that we in our sole discretion consider harmful, offensive, unprofessional or disruptive. Any behavior deemed offensive could result in a participant being removed or muted from the session, may affect their ability to attend future events, and in certain cases, CPHR BC & Yukon membership discipline procedures may be initiated.
- By attending and participating in the in-person HR Conference & Expo, you agree to follow all current health and safety mandates and requirements set forth by the Canadian Government, the BC Provincial Health Services Authority, CPHR BC & Yukon, and B.C. Pavilion Corporation.
- Should government restrictions prohibit CPHR BC & Yukon's ability to host the conference in-person, CPHR BC & Yukon will host the 2024 Conference virtually on the same or new future dates within 2024. Attendees will have the option to cancel their registration for a full refund or credit, or to convert to attending the conference virtually at a reduced fee (the price difference can be either refunded or credited). Any credits will remain on the attendee’s account for future usage towards future conference, PD, membership dues, etc.
- If you are unable to attend this event or you wish to send a substitute in your place, we ask that you inform us in writing by email to [email protected]. A full refund, less a $50 processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing up to 12:00 PM PST on February 29, 2024. Cancellations received between 12:01 PM PST February 29 and 11:59 PM PST March 31, 2024, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations or substitutions received after March 31. Member/non-member rates will apply and are due upon substitution notification.
- Badge sharing at the HR Conference & Expo is not allowed. If you have registered and are unable to attend a portion of the event, you will be able to access the recordings from the sessions that you missed and watch them on-demand for a period of 60 days following the event.
